How they are made
A map is imported from its BSP into Blender with the game's own textures, lighting and entities, so the film's rooms are the rooms you play in. The cast are Quake's models with rigs and poses built for acting. Voices are designed from text and spoken by a local text-to-speech model; nobody's voice is cloned. The sound and score are original. Every cut is checked frame by frame before anyone outside the project sees it.
Where it is going
The first film proved the pipeline. Next come the useful ones: narrated tours of the ten most-played maps with real callouts, one three-minute guide per class, and a five-minute route from download to your first capture. Made with Quake (id Software) game data. Unofficial fan films, not affiliated with id Software, Valve or the Nehahra team.
